With tech and social media on the rise, teens are spending less time in nature, missing out on the connection, calm, and clarity it brings. We noticed that while outdoor photos were common, native trees and flora were rarely acknowledged. So we flipped the script. Natural Extras turned native plants into Instagram ‘talent’, letting teens tag them in posts like they would a model or artist. In return, a new native would be planted, helping them reconnect with nature while giving back to it too.
